Shear fields – though this icon represents the potential for shaped gravity-like fields to shear thin materials such as foils and gels without being touched by actual tooling materials, there is also the potential for industrial processes such as boring, shaping, bending, etc. Also the ability to handing the continuous processing of hot metals, glasses… and shaping aerogels without rollers or mold walls contaminating surfaces.
